Chicora residents Emily Ryan and Ronald Jones exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. Aug. 21 at the Chicora Medical Center Chapel in Chicora. The Rev. Thomas Steighner officiated. A reception was held at the Petrolia fire hall.

The bride is the daughter of Charles and Pearl Ryan of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Richard and Lydia Jones of Chicora.

The matron of honor was Stacy Martin of East Brady. Bridesmaids included Kerry Gutherie of Cowansville, and Courtney Hoover and Carmen Anderson, both of Chicora.

Performing the duties of best man was Todd Jones of Chicora. Groomsmen included Jason McElravy of Butler, and Tony Ryan and Justin Scherer, both of Chicora.

The bride graduated in 1998 from Karns City High School and in 2003 from Butler County Community College. She works for Butler Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom graduated in 1998 from Karns City High School and in 2001 from Triangle Tech in Pittsburgh. He is self-employed at S.S.J. Electric and HVAC in Chicora.

Following a wedding trip to Ocean City, Md., the couple is living in Chicora.
