Dana McElroy and Joseph Brewer, both of Chicora, exchanged wedding vows at 4 p.m. July 31 at Karns City United Methodist Church in Karns City. The Rev. Glea Foster officiated. A reception followed at the Bruin Fire Hall.

The bride is the daughter of Terry and Fran McElroy of Chicora. Parents of the bridegroom are Joseph and Georgia Brewer of Bruin.

The bridegroom's sister, Keli Keihl of Karns City, was the honor attendant. Bridesmaids were Carrie Ace of Chicora and Samantha Ryan of Karns City. Kirsten Hiles of Chicora, the bride's daughter, was the flower girl.

Serving the bridegroom as best man was Seth Cromer of East Brady. Ushers were Josh Brewer and Jake Brewer, both of Bruin, and Layne Kriebel and Justin Ryan, both of Karns City. Draedan Brewer of Bruin, the bridegroom's son, was the ring bearer.

The bride is a 1999 graduate of Karns City High School. She works at Butler Memorial Hospital.

The bridegroom is a 2002 graduate of Karns City High School. He works for Ritenours Equipment Center.

The couple is living in Chicora.
