Pettigrew, Rhen

Melissa Pettigrew and David Rhen, both of Camp Hill, exchanged wedding vows at noon Aug. 28 at Good Shepherd Roman Catholic Church in Camp Hill. The Rev. Paul Hilwig officiated. The couple greeted guests during a reception at the Navy Depot Officer's Club.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. William and Debrah Pettigrew of Mars. Parents of the bridegroom are Dennis and Linda Rhen of Camp Hill.

The matron of honor was the bride's sister, Molly Piercy of Myrtle Beach, S.C. Bridesmaids were Tanya Rhen and Maureen O'Connor, both of Boston; Megan Hewis Marsicano of Sweedsboro, N.J.; Amber Mesoras of Camp Hill; and Michelle O'Neil and Gisele Sleimen, both of Philadelphia. The flower girl was Cayla Hicks of Camp Hill.

Performing the duties of best man was Duncan Campbell of Washington, D.C. Ushers were Jeff Pettigrew of Kutztown; Matthew Pettigrew of Mars; and Michael Grada, William Hicks, Jeffrey Lichtel and Andrew Preston, all of Camp Hill. The ring bearer was Joshua Lichtel of Camp Hill.

The bride graduated in 1992 from Butler High School and in 1998 from Geneva College. She works for the Department of Revenue in Harrisburg.

The bridegroom graduated in 1989 from Camp Hill High School, in 1993 from Penn State University and in 1998 from Notre Dame. He works for the Governor's Office of Administration in Harrisburg.

After honeymooning in San Francisco, the couple is making their first home in Camp Hill.
