Skwirut, Vranka
Butler residents Brandi Skwirut and Jeffrey Vranka exchanged wedding vows at 3:30 p.m. Aug. 20 at Bakerstown United Methodist Church in Gibsonia. The Rev. Mark Stewart officiated. A reception was held at The Atrium in Prospect.
The bride is the daughter of Stanley and Lori Skwirut of Vandergrift, and Terry and Rhonda Barkey of Renfrew. Parents of the bridegroom are Peter Vranka of Apollo and Gail Vranka of McKeesport.
The bride was presented for marriage by her father and her son, Levi Vickers of Butler.
The matron of honor was Carrie Jonczak of Natrona. Bridesmaids were Sarah Brock of Vandergrift and Jennifer Betters of McKeesport. The flower girls were Ashlyn Jonczak of Natrona and Emilie Betters of McKeesport.
The bride's son, Levi Vickers of Butler, was the best man. Groomsmen were Brian Skwirut of Lyndora, Bob Betters of McKeesport and Jeffery Lohr of Evans City.
The bride is a 2004 graduate of Butler County Community College. She is the director of Montgomery's Country Kids in Zelienople.
The bridegroom attended Penn State University. He is a biology teacher at Summit Academy in Herman.
Following a Disney World honeymoon, the couple is living in Penn Township.
