BUTLER CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE
The missions department of Butler Church of The Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road and Route 68, is now collecting items for Crisis Care Kits. Each 2-gallon resealing bag contains a medium-size bottle of shampoo, two bars of soap, toothpaste, three toothbrushes, a box of bandages, fingernail clippers, a sturdy hair comb, two hand towels, two pocket size packages of tissues, a small stuffed toy and $2 for shipping costs. The Sacrament of Holy Communion will be celebrated during weekend services at Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road.
CHRIST'S OUTREACH.
In commemoration of Worldwide Communion, the Lord's Supper will be served during the 7 p.m. Saturday and 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. Sunday services at Christ's Outreach Church, 120 Walker Ave.
Dwight Morrison, Tammie Summers, Patty Helms and Amanda Helms will provide music for the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service.
A youth missions dinner will be held after the 10:30 a.m. Sunday service. Cost is a donation and proceeds will benefit the next teen mission trip. A video of the group's last mission trip will be shown.
COMMUNITY ALLIANCE
Missionary Sundays, with a special guest missionary each Sunday morning and evening, will be held Oct. 10, 17 and 24 at Community Alliance Church, 800 Mercer Road.
COVENANT PRESBY
Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will celebrate Worldwide Communion Day with a joint service with Faith and Saint Andrew's Presbyterian churches at 11 a.m. Sunday at the Butler Community College Succop Theater.
On Friday and Saturday, senior high youth and friends will participate in a 24-hour retreat at East Liberty Presbyterian Church. They will leave the church at 6 p.m. Friday.
Members will travel to the Villa Maria Retreat Center on Tuesday for a devotional presentation by Sister Margaret Marszal. Meet at the church at 7:50 a.m.
Soda crackers and graham crackers are being collected in October for the food bank.

A concert featuring Dan Schall will be held at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9 at Fenelton United Methodist Church, Fenelton-Chicora Road, Fenelton.
FIRST BAPTIST
First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., is among churches participating in a women's retreat Friday and Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock. Peg Butler of Glen Mills will be the featured speaker.
Belle Stelle will speak on the Psalms at the 9 a.m. and 7 p.m. sessions of the Women's Missionary Fellowship at the Baptist Youth Center.
FIRST U.M.
As a part of Worldwide Communion Day, Communion will be served during the Saturday and Sunday services at First United Methodist Church, 200 E. North St.

Youth group members planning to attend the Silver Ring Thing in Grove City should meet at the church at 5 p.m. Sunday and bring the designated amount of money. The group will return to the church at 10 p.m.

The Peacemaking Offering will be collected during the weekend services at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St. The Cherub Choir will perform during the Sunday service.
The Faith Weavers Kids' Club will begin at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday. The program will last two hours and includes stories, crafts, music and dinner for children in preschool through grade four. A canoe trip for students in grades seven to 12 will be held Oct. 9. Cost is $15, and registration is due to John Porter by Sunday.

As a part of Worldwide Communion Sunday, the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated at the Sunday service at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 107 Staley Ave.
The fall festival will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday. The event will include music, food, crafts and games. Apple butter and cider will be made. A pasta dinner will be held from 5 to 7 p.m.
The youth group will meet Sunday to assist with flood cleanup in Renfrew. A special offering will be collected for three weeks to help with flood relief.
WHITE OAK SPRINGS PRESBY
Members of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church, 102 Shannon Road, Renfrew, will host a fall festival from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The event will include a craft, baked goods and soup sale, a flea market, knife sharpening and a Chinese auction. Lunch will be served.
World Communion Sunday will be observed at the 9:45 a.m. Sunday service. A peacemaking offering will also be collected during the service.
The youth group will join the youth groups of Meridian and Trinity Presbyterian churches at 2 p.m. Sunday at Meridian Presbyterian Church for flood cleanup in the Renfrew area.
