CHRIST COMMUNITY U.M.

Beginning Sunday, the Sunday morning worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St., will be at 11 a.m.

Dr. Ahmed Abdelwahab, president of the Islamic Center of Pittsburgh, will be the guest speaker for the Seekers/Pathfinders class at 9:45 a.m. Sunday.

Members of First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St., will participate in the "Come Alive" women's retreat Friday and Saturday at Slippery Rock Baptist Camp, 130 Elliott Lane, Slippery Rock. GRACE LUTHERAN
The fall worship schedule at Grace Lutheran Church, 220-226 New Castle St., will resume this week. The contemporary service will begin at 8:30 a.m. Sundays followed by Sunday school at 9:45 a.m. The traditional service will be held at 11 a.m. Sundays. Office hours will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Friday.

HARVEST
A 9/11 Remembrance Service will be held at 10 a.m. Sunday at Harvest Church, Assembly of God, 160 Brownsdale Road.
The service will feature a media presentation to remember not only the victims of Sept. 11, 2001, but also the police, firefighters and emergency medical personnel from the surrounding communities.
There will be refreshments following the service.
HILL U.P.
A reverse offering will be received Saturday and Sunday at Hill United Presbyterian Church, 501 Second St.
Sunday school classes will resume at 9:15 a.m. Sunday. Adults will meet in the fellowship hall for a continental breakfast and introduction. Students in sixth grade and younger will meet in the balcony area. Students in grades seven to 12 will meet in the youth lounge to prepare bag lunches for the community. Childcare will also be available.
Family movies will be shown from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Saturday. Children ages 3 and 4 must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be sold to benefit the youth summer mission trip.
The Hylights youth program will begin with dinner at 5:30 p.m. Sunday followed by a group study at 5:45 p.m. Instrumental ensemble and youth choir will begin at 6:45 p.m. and handbell choir will begin practice at 7:30 p.m.

Rally Day will be held Sunday at Mars United Methodist Church, 525 Pittsburgh St. The Sunday school year will kick off at 9:30 a.m. Sunday in the Education Building. Beginning Sept. 19, Sunday school classes for all ages will meet from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m.
The regular Sunday schedule begins this Sunday with Sunday school at 9:30 a.m. and the worship service at 11 a.m.
MERIDIAN U.P.
The 11 a.m. Sunday service for Meridian United Presbyterian Church will be held at the Veterans Club picnic grounds in Meridian. Participants should take a covered dish. Children entering fourth grade will receive a Bible, and all Sunday school teachers from last year will be recognized during the service.

A rally day will be held at 9:45 a.m. Sunday for members of Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church, 341 Muddy Creek Drive.
NEW LIFE CHRISTIAN MINISTRIES
The adult Son-LIFE group of New Life Christian Ministries, Knoch School Auditorium, 345 Knoch Road, Saxonburg, will begin a new lecture and discussion series at 9 a.m. Sunday.
