BUTLER TWP - Fred Vero, vice chairman of the Butler County Community College board of trustees, has been re-elected to the Pennsylvania Commission for Community College's board of directors.

Vero has been on the BC3 trustees board for 11 years and is the administrative aide to State Rep. Guy Travaglio.

He was nominated and elected to his new position as treasurer and member of the commission board at an April 19 meeting in Harrisburg.

Vero will serve a one-year term of office for the commission board.

The commission is a nonprofit organization whose primary purpose is to represent the interests of the 14 community colleges in Pennsylvania.
