Considering both parties' platforms

Informed voters can see stark, contrasting positions when they examine online both political party platforms.

The Republican party defends the sanctity of all human life, born and preborn, while the Democrats believe every woman should be able to access abortion for her child paid for by taxpayer dollars. When a preborn human person’s life is taken before birth, all other rights are rendered meaningless.

The Democratic party platform supports restoring federal funding of Planned Parenthood. They also say they want to end discrimination on the basis of race and ethnicity etc. That being the case, why did over 100 black community and business leaders, politicians, and pastors condemn Planned Parenthood for its policy of systemic racism against communities of color, citing the policy of eugenics of the abortion chain’s founder, Margaret Sanger, as well as Planned Parenthood’s targeting of minority communities? Rev. Dean Hudson who is with the Human Action Committee stated that over 79% of Planned Parenthood’s facilities are placed in minority communities. “(American Life League Newsletter Vol. 26, No. 5 )

Republicans support a variety of options for education including private, parochial, magnet, charter schools and home schooling and educational savings accounts, vouchers and tax credits so parents, who know their child best, can determine what would better suit their child’s educational needs. Democrats, who clamor for a woman’s right to choose abortion, oppose diverting taxpayer dollars away from the public school system, denying a parent’s right to choose the best education for their children.

Voters need to check out both parties stand on others issues such as religious freedom, sex education and gender identity, health care and immigration. A lot is at stake this election ... freedom based on our Constitution and Bill of Rights, or allowing progressive ideology that calls for expanding government control of our personal lives. Socialism is right around the corner. Our founding fathers laid out a great system of checks and balances in our democratic republic, lets see if we can keep it. Respectfully submitted,
