I would like to bring a letter of thanksgiving concerning the “prayer vigil” held in Mars recently.

First, I would like to thank the Mars Borough Council and Mars Bank for not knuckling under to fear and scare tactics.

I thank the many police persons and sheriff deputies for their presence “just in case.”

I would also like to thank the Butler Eagle for fair and accurate coverage of the event.

And last, but most important, I would like to thank God for His presence as He promised (Matthew 18:20) and for answering our prayers according to His will.
