Both vehicles had to be towed. Police cited Votava for making an improper left turn.

8:56 p.m. Tuesday — Michael J. Mitchell, 30, of Lyndora was arrested after police said he punched another person in the eye on Penn Avenue. The victim suffered a minor cut above the left eye.

Mitchell was arraigned on charges of simple assault and harassment, and placed in the Butler County Prison on $3,000 bond.

10:31 p.m. Monday — Antonio A. Montgomery, 23, of Butler was arrested after a domestic incident at his home on Route 68. Police said he got into an argument with his ex-girlfriend, during which the 25-year-old Leechburg, Armstrong County woman suffered a minor burn on her hand from his lit cigarette.

Montgomery also is accused of jumping on the victim’s vehicle where the couple’s children, ages 2 and 5, were seated. The children were scared, police said, but they were not injured. Damage to the vehicle, which was in the driveway, exceeded $1,000.

The defendant was arraigned on three counts of simple assault, and one count each of criminal mischief and harassment. He is free on $5,000 bail.
