Three more Butler indoor track and field records fell Saturday as the Golden Tornado competed in a TSTCA meet at Edinboro University.

Autumn Pettinato and Jen Cichra both broke the 3,000 meters record — previously set by Alexis Swiergol in 2011 — as Pettinato ran the event in 11 minutes, 1.33 seconds and Cichra ran an 11:01.37. Swiergol's mark was 11:02.50.

Guinness Brown broke the 200 meters record by running that event in 50.70 seconds. Josh Dumbaugh set the previous mark of 50.99 in 1999.

Byron Manchester broke his own record in the 60-meter hurdles, running an 8.54. He ran a record time of 8.65 three weeks ago.

The Golden Tornado girls 4x200 meter relay team of Samantha Penrod, Alli Morrow, Taylor Timmons and Chelsey Kabel won that event in 1:50.22.

Butler will compete in the TSTCA Championships this Saturday and the Pa. state championships March 1.
