Award winning mezzo-soprano Marianne Cornetti, a Cabot native and Knoch High School graduate, will celebrate her 30-year career by giving back to the area where she grew up.

Cornetti will perform a program of her favorite religious music, songs that she sang in area churches three decades ago, on Sunday.

“Then Sings My Soul, Celebrating 30 Years of an Operatic Career and a Lifetime of Music,” will also feature pianist Bryan Sable.

The event will begin at 4 p.m. at Trinity United Methodist Church, 847 Tenth Ave., Brackenridge.

While this concert does not carry an admission fee, financial contributions will be appreciated, and the suggested donation is $20. Proceeds will be donated back to the community to local organizations like the Allegheny Valley Association of Churches (AVAC) Food Bank.
