7:50 p.m. Sept. 14 — While driving east on Route 422 near the Route 8 exit, Jamie Rivera Jr., 24, of Evans City rear-ended a car being driven by David Shaffer, 27, of Vandergrift. No injuries were reported.

11:51 a.m. Sept. 14 — Emily Fellenz, 23, of Slippery Rock was driving a car south on Route 8 when she allegedly failed to stop at a red light at the Evans Road intersection, striking another car with two occupants. No injures were reported and both cars were towed. Fellenz was cited for a red-light violation.

10:20 p.m. Sept. 2 — Four shotgun shells and an Xbox 260 were stolen from the home of an Evans City man. Police estimate the value of the items to be $205.

2:36 p.m. Sept. 15 — Jonathan D. Smith, 35, of Butler was driving a motorcycle on Eagle Mill Road just south of Route 422 when his front tire caught the right side of a berm on the road, causing Smith to lose control. The motorcycle fell on its side, and Smith and his passenger were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.11:04 a.m. Sept. 1 — An unnamed 62-year-old Pittsburgh man was arrested for public drunkenness in Center Township on North Main Street.
