Jazz and pop fusion group the Huntertones will perform at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the senior high school auditorium at Seneca Valley High School in Jackson Township.

The group will spend the day working with students.

Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s 70th anniversary season will conclude with the concert “Fire & Water” at 3 p.m. April 14 at Butler Intermediate High School’s auditorium.

Performing with the orchestra will be baritone Timothy LeFebvre and the BCSO’s Collegiate Concerto Competition winner, vocalist Elary Mede. For information, call 724-283-1402.

[naviga:h3]Students part of musical[/naviga:h3]

“Singin’ in the Rain” will be presented March 29 to April 14 at Lincoln Park Performing Arts Center in Midland, Beaver County.

The musical is a stage adaptation of the classic Hollywood film.

The 40-person cast features Lincoln Park Performing Arts Charter School senior Brianna Kutchko of Valencia as Lina Lamont as well as other Butler County students including senior Zane Gagliardi of Butler; juniors Katy Coulson and Patricia Dietrick, both of Cranberry Township, and Alexis Walker of Mars; and eighth-grader Shaun Walker of Cranberry Township.

In its 40th year, Sing Hosanna! will present “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” in April at the Succop Theater at Butler County Community College.

Curtain will be at 7:30 p.m. April 12 and 13 and at 2 p.m. April 14.

All seats are $15 for this musical and are not reserved.

Connecting2Tomorrow will host the Piano Maniacs, a dueling piano fundraising event, April 13 at the American Legion in Lyndora.

Doors will open at 6 p.m., and food will be available. Because the evening is BYOB, only those 21 and older will be admitted.
