The Pulse is scheduled to play from 8 p.m. to midnight Friday at the American Legion Post 778, 150 Legion Memorial Lane. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $3. Food and beverages available.

The Jazz Cabaret on Nov. 28 will feature vocalist Erin Burkett, bassist Virgil Walters, keyboardist Max Leake and saxophonist Mike Tomaro. The music will play from 7 to 9:15 p.m. at Conley’s, 740 Pittsburgh Road, Penn Township. Cost is $12.50 per person which includes appetizers and parking. There will be a cash bar. Proceeds from ticket sales go to the St. Barnabas Free Care Fund. Call 412-366-1035.
