6:28 a.m. Saturday — Ice on the road was blamed for a one-vehicle wreck on Route 422. Jason Reott, 42, of Butler lost control of his vehicle on the road and struck the center barrier before hitting the guardrail.

Police said Reott was not injured but his vehicle had to be towed.

12:09 p.m. Nov. 7 — No one was injured when vehicles driven by Fallon M. Dreibelbis, 30, of Saxonburg and Paul Player, 32, of Brookville, Jefferson County, collided on Route 422.

Dreibelbis’ vehicle had to be towed. She was cited for improperly passing another vehicle.

4:45 p.m. Oct. 25 — Samuel G. Orbin, 28, of Buffalo Township was found with several pills without a prescription after police were called for a disturbance involving three people at the GetGo store on Route 356.

An officer found Orbin standing in front of a car and noticed he was touching his waistband, according to court documents. The officer conducted a pat-down search and found a pill container in one of the defendant’s pockets.

The bottle, which did not have a label on it, contained nine pills wrapped in cellophane. The pills were later identified as lorazepam, clonazepam and cyclobenzaprine hydrochloride.

Orbin is charged with nine counts of possession of a controlled substance and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Oct. 30 — Skylar J. Bridge, 23, of Gibsonia was charged with having marijuana and marijuana wax on Leslie Road. Police said they found Bridge about 1:50 a.m. Oct. 25 in a parked car with its taillights on.

An officer smelled a “strong odor” of marijuana as he walked around the vehicle, according to court documents. A search of the car turned up glass jar with suspected marijuana in it, two marijuana pipes, marijuana wax and a vape pen used to smoke the THC wax.

Bridge is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia.

[naviga:h3]Slippery Rock University Police[/naviga:h3]

Nov. 5 — Sean Imler, 18, of Pittsburgh was charged with felony drug possession after police say they found him with nearly two dozen bags of suspected marijuana last month while on patrol in the area of Rock Pride Drive and the Rock Hall parking lot.

Police said they first noticed Imler and a female about 2:15 p.m. Oct. 30 coming out of the woods toward the Rock Hall parking lot. An officer smelled a “strong door” of marijuana coming form the defendant, according to court documents, who admitted to smoking the drug while in the woods.

He admitted that he had marijuana on him and unzipped his back pack. He took out a Mason jar that contained 22 individually-wrapped bags of marijuana, documents. Police also found a digital scale in the back pack.

Police Nov. 5 obtained an arrest warrant for Imler on a felony charged of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, and misdemeanor charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Butler[/naviga:h3]

2:42 a.m. Monday — A minivan driven by Richelle L. Katus, 23, of Butler struck a deer on Route 422 east just west of East Butler Road. She was wearing a seat belt and she was not injured.

12:18 a.m. Monday — A car driven by Uriah A. Lindsay, 22, of Freeport hit a deer on Route 8 in Clay Township. He was wearing a seat belt and he was not injured.

[naviga:h3]State Police, Clarion[/naviga:h3]

4:15 p.m. Friday — A Rimersburg teenager was hurt when she crashed her car in Toby Township. Alexandria L. Short, 19, was taken to Clarion Hospital for unknown injuries following the wreck on Curllsville Road.

Police said Short was traveling north around a left-hand curve when she lost control of her car. She went off the east berm and struck a ditch before hitting a tree. She was wearing a seat belt.

11:52 p.m. Thursday — A minivan driven by Tzvi L. Seliger, 30, of Pittsburgh struck a deer on Route 68 at Grant Street in East Brady. He was wearing a seat belt and he was not injured.
