'All Shook Up' plays at Comtra

Sam O'Neill of Cranberry Township appears in Comtra Theatre's rendition of the musical “All Shook Up.” Shows run Fridays and Saturdays through July 21.

CRANBERRY TWP — “All Shook Up” rocks on through July 21 at the Comtra Theatre at 20540 Route 19.

The musical comedy was inspired by and features the songs of Elvis Presley.

Set in the American Midwest in the 1950s, “All Shook Up” tells the story of a quiet little town and the roustabout, Chad, who rides in to shake things up.

The story was taken from Shakespeare’s “Twelfth Night.”

Tunes will include Elvis favorites such as “Jailhouse Rock,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “A Little Less Conversation,” “Blue Suede Shoes” and “Don’t Be Cruel.”

The curtain goes up at 7:30 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.

Tickets are $15. Call 724-591-8727 or visit www.comtratheatre.org.

The next show planned at Comtra will be “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” running Aug. 3 to 18.
