Old Stone House, near the intersection of Routes 8, 173 and 528, will be the site of “Stitches in Time,” a program about how people have used textiles throughout history, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday. The exhibit displays textiles from the 18th to early 20th centuries, including embroidery, quilts, clothing, and decorative art, alongside contemporary textile pieces created by Slippery Rock University students. Admission is free.

Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., is hosting a festival of films from India. Films begin at 6 p.m. and include “Dangal” on May 3 and “Charulata” on May 17. Admission is free, but reservations are required by calling 724-282-0123. Regular gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. Museum admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8 accompanied by an adult. Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, offered from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.
