Butler boys roll by Shaler

Butler's boys track and field team improved to 5-1 with an 84-25 victory at Shaler on Tuesday.

Due to the inclement weather, some events were abbreviated or not held at all.

Athletes who won events for the Golden Tornado include:

3,200 relay: Skyler Vavro, Aden Dressler, Rob Hays, Doug Kostelansky; 1,600 run: Noah Beveridge; 400 run: Dennis McDermott; 400 relay: Steve Green, Nathan Baker, Vance Jackson, Jack Codispot; 800 run: Cade Gratzmiller; 3,200 run: Cam Seybert

Shot put: Godfrey Panzarello; High jump: Sami Taoufik; Long jump: Tarik Taoufik

Softball

Karns City's 3-1 lead disintegrated with Cranberry's 8-run fifth inning and the Berries went on to post a 12-3 victory at Diehl Stadium.

Alyssa Stitt and Mackenzie Dunn both had two hits for the Gremlins.
