Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, will be the site of “Home Sweet Home: Backyard Maple Sugaring” from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Feb. 10. The program is free, with equipment available to purchase. Registration is required by Feb. 7 at events.dcnr.pa.gov or by calling the center at 724-794-6011. An optional tour of Jennings’ sugar bush will follow the workshop, from 1 to 2 p.m. When the weather allows, guests can try snowshoes between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
