Butler Art Center, 344 S. Main St., plans the Regional Elementary Art Show for Jan. 31 to Feb. 10, and the Regional Middle and High School Art Show for Feb. 21 to March 3. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., presents an exhibition of photographs by William Henry Fox Talbot, who invented the paper-based photography that dominated the field for most of the 19th and 20th centuries, through Feb. 11. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays and holidays. Extended hours are until 8 p.m. most Thursdays.
