The 33rd annual Country Fall Festival, sponsored by the Zelienople Area Business Association, will be 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday along Main Street and Four Corners Park and in Harmony. The event will include family entertainment, pony rides and other children’s activities, live music, food, arts and crafts, history tours, a chili cookoff, and pumpkin carving, among other things. Butler Ghost Walk will be at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 20, 21, 27 and 28 starting from Diamond Park, across from the Butler County Courthouse. Tour guide Bill May takes spectators of all ages on a guided walking tour and tells stories of Sam Mohawk, Ghosts of the Old Hospital, Haunted Elevator, Chinese Laundry Murder, Phantom Civil War Regiment, the Girl Who Heard the Angels Sing, and new this year, “The Ghost of the Penn Theater.” Cost is $10, and reservations are required. Old Stone House’s Spooky Stories will be from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 28. Festivities include stories, dramatic readings, face painting, an apple cider press demonstration, candle dipping and sugar cookie decorating. Admission price is $8 per person, with a cap of $30 for families of four or more. Children under 4 are admitted free. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., plans a Harvest Moon celebration on Oct. 21 at Butler Country Club. Cash bar will begin at 5:30 p.m. with hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m. and dinner stations at 7 p.m. Reservations for the black tie-optional event are $125. Call 724-282-0123.

Harmony Museum, 218 Mercer St., Harmony, has tours that include the 1809 main museum building and wine cellar and a neighboring early 19th century house, both built by the communal Harmony Society, and a Mennonite log house, offered from 1 to 4 p.m. daily, except when the museum is closed Mondays and major holidays. Admission is $7 for adults, $6 for senior citizens age 60 and older, and $3 for youths ages 6 to 17. Call 724-452-7341.

PITTSBURGH

Carnegie Museum of Natural History, 4400 Forbes Ave. in Oakland, will have free admission on Sunday and Nov. 19. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily except closed Tuesdays. Extended hours are until 8 p.m. Thursdays. Admission is $19.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens age 65 and older, and $11.95 for children 3 to 18. National Aviary, 700 Arch St., will host a Wings & Wildlife Art Show & Marketplace 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Nov. 4 and 5. The Aviary is open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aviary admission is $14 for adults and $13 for senior citizens and children ages 2 to 12. Some activities cost extra. Children’s Museum, 10 Children’s Way, Allegheny Square, displays “Tough Art” through Jan. 21. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, except holidays. Fort Pitt Museum in Point State Park presents “From Maps to Mermaids: Carved Powder Horns in Early America” through Jan. 14.
