These items have been collected from various police departments.

Monday — Susan Parsons reported a hit-and-run accident in which an unknown vehicle struck her stone wall at the corner of North Cedar and Polk streets between May 31 and June 27. There was no evidence of the color, make or model of the vehicle, which was southbound on North Cedar Street.

4:21 p.m. July 9 — Ryan Z. Wilson, 26, of Butler was charged with theft by unlawful taking after allegedly stealing a PS4 video game player, three video games and a movie videotape, worth a total of $440, from Apt. 3 at 129 E. Wayne St.

Megan Bailey reportedly noticed the items were missing after Wilson allegedly never returned from using the bathroom at the apartment. The bathroom window was left open.

Police later found Wilson hiding under a blanket in the basement of 115 Maple Ave.
