[naviga:h3]Youth present ‘Snow Queen’[/naviga:h3]

Butler Little Theatre’s summer youth production of “The Snow Queen” goes on at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the theater at One Howard St.

The play features youths ages 10 to 25.

Executive director is Shannon Donovan, and executive producer is Connie Donovan.

Tickets are $12 at www.bltgroup.org; limited tickets will be available at the door.

The Butler County Symphony Orchestra’s 2017-18 season includes six concerts.

“Holiday Traditions” with the Butler and Seneca Valley High School choirs, Dec. 2

“The Planets” with Tom Mahovsky on euphonium, Feb. 3, 2018

“Sci-Fi Spectacular” including selections from “Star Trek: Into Darkness,” “Star Wars: The Force Awakens,” “Aliens,” “Close Encounters of the Third Kind” and “Back to the Future,” March 3, 2018

“Carmina Burana” with the Slippery Rock University Concert Choir, April 14, 2018.

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. at Butler Intermediate High School auditorium.

EAST BRADY — The East Brady Area Riverfest will be Friday through Sunday.

SAXONBURG — The annual Saxonburg Carnival continues through Saturday.

The largest fireman’s parade east of the Mississippi is at 6 p.m. today and pageants are at 7 p.m. Friday.
