Knoch graduates Jessi Reed and Codi Reed each picked up wins in the circle and also had big days at the plate as the Butler County Community College softball team earned a doubleheader sweep over Anne Arundel Community College in Arnold, Md., over the weekend.

Jessi Reed struck out six and didn’t walk a batter in a 10-1 win in the first game. Codi Reed doubled, drove in two and scored two runs in the win.

Codi Reed picked up the win in a 7-4 victory in the second game. She also had a pair of singles, scored two runs and had an RBI for the Pioneers (2-0).

Karns City graduate Ashley Coon had a double, three singles and drove in four in the two games.

Freeport grad Kristen Karcher had a pair of doubles and two RBI in the wins.

Slippery Rock High grad Alexis Vogan also had a double, single and two RBI and Knoch grad Hayle Fox doubled home a run.
