Meadowcroft Rockshelter and Historic Village, Avella, Washington County, will host an American Indian Heritage Weekend from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday. Re-enactors will demonstrate skills of everyday American Indian life. Activities are included with admission of $14 for adults, $13 for senior citizens, and $6 for children 6 to 17. PITTSBURGH

Children’s Museum, Allegheny Square, hosts “Tough Art.” “Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood: A Grr-ific Exhibit” continues through Jan. 17. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $16 for adults and $14 for children 2 to 18 and senior citizens. Visit www.pittsburghkids.org.

Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens, 700 Frank Curto Drive, will host a family yoga class Oct. 23. Phipps is open 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily. Admission is $15 for adults, $14 for senior citizens and students, and $11 for children ages 2 to 18. Call 412-622-6914.
