Florence D. Robinson

Florence D. Robinson, 95, of Tecumseh, Mich., formerly of Zelienople, passed away Saturday at the Cambrian Memory Care Center.

Born Oct. 18, 1920, in Port Vue, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Albert and Lily Mae (Thomas) Davis.

Florence grew up in a family of musicians, where she discovered her love for music and singing.

She was a member of the Harmony-Zelienople United Methodist Church, where for a time she was the director of the choir.

She worked at Mine Safety Appliance as a secretary.

Florence was a voracious reader and enjoyed doing puzzles of all kinds. Above all, she adored her family and cherished the time she spent with them. She will be dearly missed and fondly remembered.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her children, Karen Neidert and her husband, Mike, of Tecumseh, Mich., and Tom Robinson of McMurray; her granddaughters, Jennifer Schaap and her husband, Jeff, of Orlando, Fla., and Molly Heberling and her husband, Andrew, of Toledo, Ohio; her great-granddaughter, Selah Schaap, another great-granddaughter due in November; and her sister, Emma Jane Keim of Port Charlotte, Fla.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Thomas H. Robinson, who died Feb. 17, 2012; four brothers, and two sisters.

ROBINSON — The family of Florence D. Robinson, who died Saturday, June 25, 2016, will welcome friends from noon until the time of the funeral ceremony at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Boylan Funeral Home, 324 E. Grandview Ave., Zelienople.Florence will be laid to rest in the Dutilh United Methodist Church Cemetery in Cranberry Township.Expressions of sympathy may be shared with the family at www.boylanfuneralservices.com.
