Primary antics
Well here I am 78 years old and I just found out that our primary voting is weird.
The electorate is of no use; sure, some of the delegates' votes are locked in, but some are not even counted for the person on the ballot — just elect someone who votes for one of the people running.
So my vote is worthless. Why would I go to the polls if my vote goes to a delegate who just votes where they want? Or worse yet, they vote for the majority's preference on the first ballot and their own preference on any ballots after that.
How is it right for the people at the convention not to vote for the person who won the popular vote of that state's primary? My head is spinning.
