Madison Poirier recorded 14 kills to help Seneca Valley sweep Moon 25-16, 25-23, 25-18 in the first round of the WPIAL Class AAA girls volleyball playoffs.

Melissa Carter had eight kills and Madison Chapman added three aces for the Raiders (16-3).

Seneca Valley will meet Norwin at a site, time and date to be determined in the quarterfinals.

Karns City 3, Moniteau 0 — The Gremlins won this Tuesday match 25-12, 25-22, 25-19 as Mackenzie Craig scored 24 service points and Alyssa Stitt 15. Brody Whited had 11 kills, Emily Hegedus eight. Brooke Moore had 13 assists.
