Grove City rolls 34-6, earns 1st win
Kameron Patterson tossed three touchdown passes as the Grove City High football team broke open a close game in the second half for a 34-6 win over Titusville.
Patterson found A.J. Turner, Logan Lutz and Qadir Muhammad for TDs.
Trey Adams and D'Andre Byers also had rushing touchdowns for the Eagles (1-4, 1-3).
The Grove City defense also came up with four interceptions with Nick Davies picking off two passes.
Turnovers helped the Eagles break open a 7-0 lead at the half.
Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic 65, Riverside 3 — Keith Wells scored two touchdowns and the Trojans built a 28-0 first-quarter lead to roll by the Panthers.
Khalil Weathers also added two touchdowns for North Catholic (5-0).
Mike Tomlin also scored a touchdown in the fourth quarter for the Trojans.
Redbank Valley 49, Union 22 — The Bulldogs scored 28-unanswered points following a 2-yard sneak for a touchdown by Golden Knights quarterback Lucas Bowser in the first quarter.
Union (2-3) also scored on a 63-yard run by Dugan Gallagher and a 19-yard pass from Bowser to Cole Morris.
Shady Side Academy 35, Summit Academy 8 — The Indians handed the Knights their 15th straight loss in Allegheny Conference action.
