Jennings Environmental Education Center, Route 528, Brady Township, hosts the “Wild Spirit” live animal program presented by TASOW and Skye's Spirit Wildlife Rehabilitation Center at 2 p.m. Saturday and “Honey Heroes” at 2 p.m. Sept. 20. “An Introduction to Archery” will be presented from 1 to 3 p.m. Sept. 13; registration is required. National Public Lands Day, a volunteer event, will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sept. 26, with registration required. Moraine State Park, Muddy Creek Township, will host a “Growing Up Wild Workshop” for formal and non-formal educators on Oct. 3; registration is required. Call 724-368-8811.

Nautical Nature, a 37-passenger enclosed pontoon boat at Moraine State Park, has trips on Lake Arthur. Cost is $35 for two people, $60 for a family of four. Reservations are required. Call 724-368-9185 or visit www.morainepreservationfund.org.

McConnells Mill State Park, Slippery Rock Township, Lawrence County, off Route 422, has the gristmill open through the end of September from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays. Interpretive tours are available at 1 and 3 p.m. Tours for groups may be scheduled by calling the Moraine State Park office, 724 368-8811.
