County residents take stage in 'Peter Pan'
PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Musical Theater presents “Peter Pan” opening tonight and continuing through May 3 at the Byham Theater, 101 Sixth St.
Brecken Farrell of Saxonburg will be playing the part of John Darling in the musical. Brecken’s mother, Michelle, will make a guest appearance.
Brady Patsy of East Brady will portray a pirate.
Opening night tonight and select performances will feature a guest appearance by former Steeler turned Neverland Pirate, Charlie Batch.
In partnership with PMT, Batch is sponsoring a book drive at the Byham to benefit his Best of the Batch Foundation, which is dedicated to giving Pittsburgh children a safe place to learn. Ticket holders can take a new copy of their favorite book to the theater. Donations will be accepted through May 3.
Curtain is at 7:30 p.m. today through Saturday and May 1 and 2 and at 2 p.m. Sunday and May 3. Tickets are $12.75 to $49.75. Visit pittsburghmusicals.com.
