These items have been collected from various police departments.

Butler Police

Friday — Police filed two misdemeanor drug charges against Terrence J. Mack, 22, of Mercer Township stemming from a suspected heroin overdose April 4 at a Greenview Drive apartment.

Officers said when they got there, they found Mack in the bathroom with several hypodermic needles still in his hands. He also had three stamp bags and 15 empty bags of suspected heroin and a metal spoon with suspected heroin reside.

Mack is charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and drug paraphernalia.

Butler Twp Police

12:44 p.m. Saturday — A car driven by Brittany Wolfe, 17, of Worthington, Armstrong County, collided head-on with a pickup truck at North Main Street Extension and Filbert Road. Wolfe was cited for failing to yield the right of way. Amy Hanford, 42, of Butler was the other driver.

Grove City Police

2:28 p.m. Thursday — Helen C. Hicks, 88, of Grove City was hurt when a vehicle struck her at South Center Street and College Avenue. Hicks was taken to the Grove City Medical Center with unknown injuries. Her condition was not known this morning.

Police said the woman was in a crosswalk when she was struck by the vehicle driven by Robert Shumaker, 35, of Volant, Mercer County. Shumaker was cited for failing to yield the right of way to a pedestrian.

3:24 p.m. Wednesday — Two youths, who police did not identify, were arrested after they were caught with suspected marijuana and contraband following a traffic stop on Liberty Street. Police said the car the youths were in was not registered. A police report did not indicate what charges they filed.

12:41 p.m. Wednesday — A vehicle being driven by Dylan Thomas, 21, of Clintonville, Venango County, backed up into another vehicle at a red light at West Main and South Center streets. Thomas was cited for improperly backing a vehicle. Pamela Burchfield, 60, of Volant, Mercer County, was the other driver.

Wednesday — A vandal overnight sprayed red paint on two vehicles, one in the 400 block of West Poplar Street and the other in the 500 block of Superior Street. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-458-792.

Butler County Drug Task Force

10 a.m. Friday — Isaac C. Hollenberger, 25, was caught with suspected drugs and contraband during a routine compliance check by Butler County probation officers at his home on Leasureville Road in Clinton Township.

The county drug task force later was called and seized 10 stamp bags and 100 empty bags of suspected heroin, two suspected marijuana cigarettes and two marijuana pipes, according to court documents.

Hollenberger is charged with possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and possession of a small amount of marijuana.

State Police, Butler

Monday — Police continue to investigate a weekend vehicle break-in spree at Tom’s Mobile Home Park on Route 68 in Oakland Township. An unknown thief entered several unlocked vehicles and took unspecified items. The break-ins happened between 10 p.m. Saturday and 2:15 a.m. Sunday.

Monday — Penny C. McCluskey, 54, of Slippery Rock was charged with drunken driving stemming from a traffic stop about 5:15 p.m. March 12 on Sandy Lane near Branchton Road in Slippery Rock Township.

In addition to driving under the influence, McCluskey is charged with driving a vehicle without inspection and not wearing a seat belt.

March 22 — A burglar stole money and three piggy banks from a 25-year-old woman’s home on Leroy Lane in Summit Township. The break-in happened between March 20 and 22. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 724-284-8100.

State Police, Kittanning

Friday — Police charged Carly Chruscik, 21, of Kittanning with misdemeanor retail theft stemming from a March 26 shoplifting arrest at the Hilltop Plaza Walmart in East Franklin Township.

State Police, Mercer

Monday — A thief stole four rims and tires from a vehicle at the Jerry Taylor Ford dealership on West Main Street Extension in Pine Township, Mercer County. Police believe the same suspect unsuccessfully tried to take rims and tires from several vehicles at the nearby Bob & Chuck Eddy Cadillac/Chevrolet dealership.
