CRANBERRY TWP — Cranberry Township's free, five-concert Thursdays in the Park series begins July 17 and runs through Aug. 14. The concerts start at 7 p.m. at the Rotary Amphitheatre in Community Park, Route 19.

Aeolian Winds of Pittsburgh, chamber music for wind instruments, July 24

Kardaz, six-member pop rock band, July 31

Stickers, three brothers playing country music, Aug. 7

School of Rock, student performance, Aug. 14.

PENN TWP — A Mega Cruise is planned for Saturday by the Penn Township Volunteer Fire Department.Gates will open at noon, rain or shine, at the Butler County Airport.Music will be provided by Phil Lense. EAST BRADY — The East Brady Riverfest will have its 29th annual event July 18 to 20 at Graham Field, Verner Street.The event is scheduled from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday; and 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.Included will be children's activities, live music, karaoke, fireworks, an auction, games, a clown show and contests.

BUTLER TWP — The Summer Dramatics Project presents “Seussical the Musical” at 7:30 p.m. July 31 and Aug. 1 and 2 and at 2 p.m. Aug. 3 at the Succop Theatre at Butler County Community College.Summer Dramatics is for youths ages 10 to 24.Tickets are $12 and $10 and available at May's Music Shoppe. A Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council's partner, The Office of Public Art, will host a conversation about the arts in Butler County from noon to 1:30 p.m. Friday at The Art Center, 344 S. FRAZER TWP, Allegheny County — Star Parties, sponsored by the Amateur Astronomers Association of Pittsburgh, will begin about 8:50 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Nicholas E.
