Nathan Paul Young

Nathan Paul Young, 35, of West Sunbury, passed away Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021, at Good Samaritan Hospice surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with cancer.

He was born Feb. 5, 1986, in Butler, the son of Ronald “Reggie” Young and Ann (Blair) Young of West Sunbury.

Nathan graduated from Butler High School in 2004, where he excelled as a member of the varsity rifle team. He was a graduate of Butler County Community College and the University of Phoenix, majoring in computer forensics and computer technology.

Nathan was a member of the East Butler Volunteer Fireman’s Club.

He was employed at Armstrong Cable for 16 years as a technical support representative.

Nathan enjoyed fishing, bowling, photography, traveling and spending time with family and friends.

Nathan will be remembered fondly by all who knew him. His optimism and composure during adversity proved to be his biggest strengths.

The family would like to extend gratitude to the Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, for their compassionate care.

Surviving are his parents and his sister, Sarah (Joshua) Kriebel of Emlenton.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles and Mary Lee Blair, and paternal grandparents, Paul and Marcella “Sally” Young; and two uncles and an aunt.

YOUNG — Private service and burial will be held for Nathan Paul Young, who died Thursday, Dec. 23, 2021.

Arrangements are under the direction of YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, Butler.
