11:31 a.m. Sunday - James Stewart, 20, of 34 Vogleyville Road lost control of his vehicle on icy Zeigler Avenue and struck a parked car.8:27 p.m. Saturday - Maria Zahniser, 38, of 106 Summit St. was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on East Jefferson Street.10:46 a.m. Saturday - Denise Cupps, no age given, of 217 E. Christie Ave. told police someone struck her vehicle while it was parked in front of her residence.10:35 p.m. Friday - Two people were arrested after they tried to kidnap a man in the 100 block of Kaufman Avenue.City police received a call that a man was trying to force another man into a white car. Police responded and spotted Raheim Outlaw, 21, of 109 McClain Ave. driving a white car at a high rate of speed on Zeigler Avenue.Police pulled the car over and found Outlaw and Tashita Gales, 25, of Braddock in the car. Police discovered Outlaw thought the other man had tried to steal from him and Outlaw tried to force him into the trunk of the car. When the man resisted, Outlaw threatened him with a gun.A neighbor called police and Outlaw and Gales left without the other man.Outlaw and Gales were both charged with criminal attempted kidnapping and criminal conspiracy to commit kidnapping. Outlaw was also charged with simple assault, making terroristic threats and recklessly endangering another person.District Justice Sue Haggerty set bond for Outlaw at $50,000 and $10,000 for Gales. They were placed in Butler County Prison.11:48 a.m. Friday - Alvin Stephens, no age given, of 146 N. Monroe St. told police someone struck his vehicle while it was parked in front of his residence.9:54 p.m. Thursday - James Best Jr., 32, of 322½ E. Jefferson St. was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on West Jefferson Street.

12:55 a.m. Monday - Chad Finucan, 21, of Butler was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop on Route 422 in Butler Township.12:35 p.m. Sunday - Vehicles driven by Dan Jones, no age given, of Mooresville, Ind., and Michael Formeck, no age given, of Slippery Rock collided on Route 8 in Brady Township.9:15 a.m. Sunday - Cheryl Mackiewicz, no age given, of Elma, N.Y., lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township and struck a guide rail. Mackiewicz and her passenger, Sarah Mackiewicz, no age given, also of Elma, were not injured.9:15 a.m. Sunday - Brett Spitale, no age given, of Reston, Va., lost control of his vehicle on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township and struck a guide rail. Spitale and his passenger, Joanne D'Angelo, no age given, also of Reston, were not injured.8:40 a.m. Sunday - Pearl Lovett, no age given, of Bradenton, Fla., lost control of her vehicle on Interstate 79 in Jackson Township and struck a guide rail. Lovett and her passenger, David Knight, no age given, of Tillsonburg, Ore., were not injured.4:44 p.m. Friday - Deneen Devandry, 40, of Linesville was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Lancaster Township.12:35 p.m. Friday - William Griffiths, 54, of Chicora lost control of his Peterbilt truck and trailer when traffic in front of him on Route 8 in Clay Township stopped suddenly. Griffiths' truck hit a tree.9:30 a.m. Friday - Someone broke the side windows of two vehicles belonging to Rodney Stuebgen, 64, and David Stuebgen, 37, while they were parked in front of their home on Freeport Road in Summit Township.9:25 a.m. Friday - Vehicles driven by Tiffany Burtner, 18, of Cabot and John Rhysheck, 62, of Saxonburg collided on Dinnerbell Road in Jefferson Township.7:12 Thursday - Shawn Cray, 37, of Butler lost control of his vehicle when he tried to avoid hitting a deer on Route 68 in Donegal Township.3 p.m. Wednesday - State police stopped Brian Stuchell, 24, of Renfrew after he struck a vehicle driven by Mary Beth Morrow, 48, of Renfrew at the intersection of Kriess Road and Route 68. During the traffic stop police discovered Stuchell had stolen prescription drugs that belonged to Morrow.Wednesday - A vehicle driven by an unknown driver struck a tree off Blatt Road in Clearfield Township. The driver fled the scene.

6:15 p.m. Thursday - William Menzietti, 30, of Freeport lost control of his vehicle when he tried to avoid hitting a deer on icy Route 3006 in North Buffalo Township. Menzietti was not injured.Nov. 30 - Curtis Flick, no age given, of Cadogan was charged with driving under the influence of an illegal substance and driving too fast for road conditions after he lost control of his vehicle on Route 3128 in South Buffalo Township.
