ZELIENOPLE — The Zelienople Public Library, 227 S. High St., will have its annual used book sale during Zelienople’s Horse Trading Days Festival.

There will be a preview sale from 5 to 7 p.m. July 12. The sale will continue from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 13 and from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 14. The bag sale will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 15.

Donated and used library books, DVDs and other audiovisual materials will be available.

[naviga:h3]Bike safety rodeo slated for July 22[/naviga:h3]

CRANBERRY TWP — A bike safety rodeo will be from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 22 on the Kids Castle playground parking lot in the township’s Community Park.

The event will offer free bike inspections, helmet fitting and information about the statutes that apply to bicycle use in Cranberry Township.

Participants must take their own bicycles and wear helmets.

The Rodeo is free. It is jointly sponsored by Cranberry Elks, AAA East Central and Trek of Pittsburgh, along with the Cranberry Township police and EMS.

In the event of rain, the Rodeo will be July 29.
