Leonard, Marfil
Las Vegas residents Machele Leonard and Greg Marfil were united in marriage Oct. 6 at Angel Park Golf Course in Las Vegas. A reception followed at the golf course.
The bride is the daughter of Richard and Barbara Leonard of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Helen Marfil of Vacaville, Calif., and the late Salvador Marfil Jr.
The bride was presented for marriage by her parents.
The honor attendant was Heidi Byers of Chandler, Ariz. Bridesmaids included Tina Goatcher of Las Vegas and Darlene Ferne and Sharon Bartley, both of Butler. The flower girl was Melanie Brill of Las Vegas.
Performing the duties of best men were Tony Rigoni of Las Vegas and David Eaton of Vacaville. Ushers included Dave Chambers of Billings, Mont.; Curtis Gavin of Watsonville, Calif.; and John Garcia of Napa, Calif.
The bride is a 1989 graduate of Butler High School, a 1992 graduate of Butler County Community College and a 1995 graduate of Clarion University. She is currently employed as a substitute teacher in the Clark County School District.
The bridegroom graduated in 1982 from Vacaville High School, in 1986 from Solano Community College and in 1994 from Humboldt State University. He is employed by the bureau of land management as a fire mitigation and education specialist.
Following a Hawaiian Cruise honeymoon, the couple is making their home in Las Vegas.
