Grupp, Cooper
Butler residents Jessica Grupp and Brian Cooper were united in marriage at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 7 at Heinz Memorial Chapel in Pittsburgh. The Rev. Dennis Moore officiated. Areception followed at the PPG Aquarium.
The bride is the daughter of Bill and Toni Grupp of Butler. Parents of the bridegroom are Dwayne and Beth Cooper of Butler.
The maid of honor was Jennifer Grupp of Alexandria, Va. Bridesmaids included Lisa Burek of Butler and Shawna Skaris and Becky Cooper, both of Pittsburgh. The flower girl was Jade Olexsak of Butler.
Performing the duties of best man was Mark Davis of Franklinton, N.C. Ushers included Scott DeFoggi of Butler; Dan Skaris of Pittsburgh; Mark Deep of Cape Coral, Fla.; and Cory Brennan and Chazz Brennan, both of Cranberry Township. The ring bearer was Jace Olexsak of Butler.
The bride is a 1995 graduate of Butler High School and a 2000 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. She works at the Springfield Grille in Adams Township.
The bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Butler High School and in 2004 from Slippery Rock University. He works for Nationwide Insurance in Cranberry Township.
Following a honeymoon trip to Aruba, the couple is making their home in Butler.
