BRADY TWP — Jennings Environmental Education Center, 2951 Prospect Road, is planning two events:
9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, “Art and Nature: Felting and Feeder Birds.” Join Jennings staff to learn how counting feeder birds can help scientists track bird populations. Learn a new hobby in the process. The registration deadline is Thursday and space is limited. To register, call the center at 724-794-6011.
10 a.m. to noon March 3, “Maple Sugaring for Scouts.” This event is for Scouts 7 to 11 years old. They will participate in a two-hour program that unravels the mystery of how a tree works and demonstrates the art of maple sugaring from past to present. Leaders can register their groups at events.dcnr.pa.gov.
[naviga:h3]Rabies clinic set at Alameda Park[/naviga:h3]
There will be a rabies clinic from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Alameda Park garage, 184 Alameda Park Road. Microchip services also will be available.
The clinic is co-sponsored by the Butler County Humane Society and the Butler County Parks and Recreation Department. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the humane society.

[naviga:h3]Park site of Camp Alameda event[/naviga:h3]
The Butler County Parks and Recreation Department will host Camp Alameda from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. June 4 to Aug. 17 at Alameda Park, 184 Alameda Park Road.
The “Naturally Fun” activity-based day camp will include education, nature, safety and fun.
Camp sessions will be one week long and campers will be divided by ages for activities. Early drop off and late pickup will be available free.
Campers must be toilet trained and at least 5 years old. Children older than 12 will be eligible for the counselor-in-training program.
