Christ Community United Methodist Church, 205 N. Duffy Road, will be observing Holy Communion Sunday.

Tuesday evening's 7 p.m. Bible study taught by Barb Fedosick is canceled until July 10.

The mission team is working from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday and Friday at the church. Others are welcome to join.

Covenant PresbyThe Sacrament of the Lord's Supper will be celebrated during Sunday worship service at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 230 E. Jefferson St.

Faith United Presbyterian Holy Communion will be celebrated Sunday at Faith United Presbyterian Church, 1329 N. Main St.The loose offering will aid the ministry of the deacons.

First BaptistMissionary Appointee to France, Joshua Feathers, will speak at the 10:55 a.m. and 6 p.m. services Sunday at First Baptist Church of Butler, 221 W. Grace @ Calvary LutheranThere will be a potluck luncheon after the 10 a.m. Sunday service at Grace @ Calvary Lutheran Church, 123 E. New Life Christian MinistriesNew Life Christian Ministries offers three weekend worship celebrations at the South Butler Primary School, 328 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.The Lord's Supper will be celebrated at all services this weekend. New Life uses grape juice in the elements; no alcohol is used.

North Main Street Church of GodBaptism Sunday will be July 8 at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main Street Extension.Anyone wishing to participate should contact the church office at 724-285-4214.Christian Women Connection, formerly Women of the Church of God, will meet at 1 p.m. July 5 in the parlor.The new kitchen has been installed; new flooring and new paint are all completed.The Haven Youth Ministry is having a blue envelope fundraiser. Old Union PresbyWorship at the Old Union Presbyterian Church, 200 Union Church Road, Mars, will be in the pavilion the first and second Sundays of the month during summer, weather permitting.The church will worship in the sanctuary on the other Sundays.The Fundraising Committee will meet after worship Sunday.Splash in the Spirit T-shirt orders for summer's vacation Bible school are due Sunday.Donations of empty and clean gallon jugs for the Bible school mission project are being accepted.

The Sower's ChapelGuest minister, the Rev. Chuck Blair of Bryn Athyn, formerly of Sarver, will speak Sunday at the Sower's Chapel, 100 Iron Bridge Road, Sarver.The community service team will serve lunch Saturday at the Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh. The team will leave from the church at 10 a.m.

St. Luke's LutheranSt. Luke's Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg, will have a VBS closing bonfire and family picnic at 6 tonight.A yard sale/flea market will be held Friday and Saturday at Centennial Hall and lawn. Set up is available tonight or early Friday. Contact Gayle (John) Gundlach for details.Hoagie orders will be available for pickup from 11 a.m. to noon Saturday at Centennial Hall.Extra hoagies will be sold during the flea market.All proceeds from both events will help sponsor children attending the outreach ministry's Community Day Camp.The Lord's Supper will be shared Sunday at both services.Elmcroft Ministry worship services will begin at 2 p.m. Sunday at the facility aided by the Property Ministry Team.

St. Mark's Evangelical LutheranHoly Communion will be served at all services this weekend at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 201 W. Jefferson St.All youths combine for Sunday School at 9 a.m. in Fellowship Hall. They will continue to meet until Rally Day, Sept. 9.The A.M.P.E.D. Youth Group will be going to Camp Lutherlyn for day camp for the week. Youths are to meet at the church at 8 a.m. Monday and will be back at St. Mark's for a 6 p.m. Friday pickup.Friday, everyone is to meet at Camp Lutherlyn for closing performances.Both youth groups will be gong to Kennywood July 7. Trinity LutheranThe Sacrament of Baptism will be part of weekend services at Trinity Lutheran Church, 120 Sunset Drive, Center Township.The anniversary committee is looking for pictures of happenings at Trinity throughout these past 100 years, particularly weddings.Drop them off at the church office, with names and the year on the back. They will be returned after use.There is a cake in the narthex, in honor of Trinity's 100th anniversary.Candles will be added for each $100 given by members.The money collected will be shared between a local charity, an ELCA or Synod churchwide cause, and any outstanding anniversary celebration expenses.During the month of July, we will be collecting drinks of all sorts for the Covenant Community Food Cupboard.

Zion U.M.Volunteers are needed to help decorate for vacation Bible school at Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road, Sarver. If available, contact Donna Scholl.Reservations are being taken by Amy Shick for Parents Night Out.Bibles are available at no cost from the Man to Man Sunday School class in room 11. Just stop by the church to ask for one.
