The following churches have announced dates for vacation Bible schools:

• Highland Presbyterian Church, 310 Franklin St., Slippery Rock, will host Slippery Rock Community vacation Bible school from 5:30 to 8 p.m. (light dinner served) July 23 through 27 for students from age 4 to entering the seventh grade.

• South Butler Assembly of God, 160 Brownsdale Road, will host its vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:45 p.m. July 16 through 20 for students in preschool through sixth grade. Registration can be done at www.southbutlerassembly.com

• Zion United Methodist Church, 438 Bear Creek Road, Sarver, will hold its vacation Bible school from 8:45 a.m. to noon July 16 through 20.

• Butler Church of the Nazarene, 4410 Oakdale Road, will hold its vacation bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday through July 22. For more information call the church at 724-482-4116.
