New Life Christian MinistriesBackpacks and school supplies will be collected at all three weekend worship celebrations at New Life Christian Ministries, South Butler Primary School, 328 Knoch Road, Saxonburg.The backpack team will prepare the backpacks for distribution to students in time for the beginning of school.A time of prayer for students and school personnel and the Lord's Supper will be celebrated at all three weekend worship celebrations.A men's prayer time will be held from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturdays, from Saturday through Aug. 25 at 320 W. Main St., Saxonburg.This is a time dedicated to praying for the November elections.The prayer time is open to all men who would like to participate.

North Main St. Church of GodSunday will be the first worship service led by new pastor Brandon Lenhart at North Main Street Church of God, 1201 N. Main St.Sixty Plus or Minus group will enjoy its annual picnic at Whitehall Camp and Conference Center at noon Aug. 9.
