Nominations are sought for the 67th Distinguished Service Award, which is the premier community award given in Butler County.

This is given annually to recognize outstanding volunteer service. Nominees are being sought to honor from 2015.

The award goes two people, one who is under the age of 45 and one to a person over the age of 45.

Nominations, which must be received by March 18, need to be sent to: DSA Nominee, Butler County Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 1082, Butler PA 16003.

The award is sponsored by the Rotary Club of Butler and the Butler Eagle.

The 2015 winners will be honored at a dinner May 4 at the Butler Country Club.
