The Bach Society has scheduled its spring concerts for May 3 and 4.

Practices begin Monday in the Fellowship Hall of Tower Presbyterian Church, Grove City, and run from 7 to 9 p.m.

[naviga:h3]Choir presents spiritual songs[/naviga:h3]

PITTSBURGH — The Mendelssohn Choir of Pittsburgh, which features singers from Butler County, will open its season performing “Let My People Go! A Spiritual Journey Along the Underground Railroad” at 8 p.m. Feb. 15.

The concert is a collaboration with Ebenezer Baptist Church, where the concert will take place.

The same concert will be presented at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 16at Grove City College, and at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 17 at West Virginia University.

The National Aviary said the 25th day of each month will feature activities, prizes or discounts for visitors in celebration of the Allegheny Regional Asset District’s 25th Year and its support of the aviary.
