Lora and Ben Spohn

Lora and Ben Spohn of Butler were united in marriage at 5 p.m. April 20 at The Atrium in Prospect. The Rev. Charles King officiated. A reception followed at The Atrium.

The bride is the daughter of Steve and Joan Kalnik of Ford City. Parents of the bridegroom are Bill and Nancy Spohn of Butler.

The honor attendant was Mindy Spohn of Butler. Bridesmaids included Julie Jageman and Erin Markilinski, both of Ford City, and Amy Schrecengost of Chicora. The flower girl was Taylor Spang of Ford City.

Performing the duties of best man was Kris Spohn of Butler. Ushers included Tyler Kalnik of Ford City, John Kickler of Valencia and Matt Whitmire of Butler. The ring bearer is Ethan Spohn of Butler.

The bride-elect is a 1998 graduate of Ford City High School and a 2002 graduate of Slippery Rock University. She works for Irene Stacy Community Mental Health Center and Family Behavioral Resources, both in Butler.

Her fiancé graduated in 1996 from Butler High School. He works for St. Barnabas Health System in Valencia and for the Amateur Softball Association in Butler.

Following a honeymoon trip to Niagara Falls, the couple is making their home in Butler.
