Emlenton boy, 15, mum about 'Idol'
A 15-year-old Emlenton boy may appear on Hollywood Week of “American Idol” today and Thursday.
Isaac Cole, an inspirational country music artist, advanced on the final season of the show after his audition in Philadelphia last August.
In Philadelphia, Cole received a golden ticket, meaning he would go to Hollywood Week and perform again for the judges as the show trims contestants down to the Top 24. Hollywood Week airings began Jan. 27 and are expected to continue tonight, with each show at 8 p.m. on FOX.
On Thursday night’s episode, the Top 24 contestants will be announced, and those individuals will return to perform for the live shows.
Cole could not disclose how he does on Hollywood Week, but viewers can tune in to see.
In the meantime, Cole continues to perform with God’s Country Band at the First United Methodist Church in Butler. The band plays on Saturdays at 7 p.m. at the church, 200 E. North St.
