While the brown panels have been steadily appearing on the Butler County Government Center, the glass panes for the windows between the panels have now arrived and are being hung on the west side of the structure. John Campbell, director of facilities and operations for the county, said he is still hoping the renovation of the building’s exterior will be complete by June. Inclement weather has been an issue for workers over the winter. The building face-lift was necessitated by the old panels reaching the end of their life span as predicted. The existing panels were installed in 1991, when the county government center was built.
