MAKING THEIR OWN SNOWFALL
Butler Community Kindergarten tots, who had not seen much snow up to that point in the winter, make up for it Jan. 23, 1967, by creating paper "snowflakes," which they are hanging on a tree in Mrs. Donald Nicholson's morning class at the Butler County Family YMCA. The students also learned about Eskimos during the lesson. Pictured, from left, are Mark Phoebus, son of the Rev. and Mrs. Samuel Phoebus; Lisa Kotch, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kotch; Vickie Burns, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Williams Burns; and Timmy Thoma, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Thoma. Lack of snow certainly hasn't been the case this January, as the county was blanketed by it until last week.
