Police respond to Rep. Ellis' home
Butler Township police responded to Republican state Rep. Brian Ellis’ home Tuesday for a noncriminal issue, police said.
Police declined Tuesday night to provide details about why they were at the Ellis home on Deer Creek Road except to say it was a noncriminal issue.
Ellis is reportedly under investigation by the Dauphin County District Attorney’s Office over allegations that he had sex with a woman while she was incapacitated and without her consent in her Harrisburg home in the fall of 2015.
Ellis has not been seen in public or heard from since before the allegations surfaced.
